Dadima’s February Walk Guided walk

Theme: Ashridge Estate: ancient trees, rolling chalk downlands and lush meadows in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Date and Time: Sunday, 23 February 2025. Meet at 10am when the estate opens. We will aim to finish for around 12.30pm, but this always depends on pauses, nature discussions etc.

Distance and level: Approx. 4.3 miles. We will do this at a moderate and relaxed walking pace.

Led by: Professor Clare Warren with Geeta & Subash (Dadima’s leaders).

Overview: We will meet you at the Ashridge National Trust Visitors’ Centre. The entrance to Monument Drive and the visitor centre is off the B4506 between Berkhamsted and Dagnall. Use Sat Nav: HP4 1LT.

Parking: Free and plentiful along Monument Drive. Pay parking located closest to the café.

Toilet facilities: At the visitors’ centre/café.

Food and drink: Available at the café. Please bring water, warm drinks and snacks to keep you going as needed on a walk of this length. Monument Café serves hot and cold drinks, hot food, sandwiches, light bites and cakes if you wish to visit after the walk.
