Chalk, Cherries & Chairs
Chalk, Cherries and Chairs was an ambitious landscape-scale scheme which ran from 2019 till November 2024. It aimed to connect local people to the wildlife and cultural heritage of the Central Chilterns.
The Scheme was made possible by funding from National Lottery Heritage Fund, with thanks to Lottery Players; as well as HS2 Community & Environment Fund and over 80 partners, groups, organisations, landowners and event attendees who have contributed match funding.
A Journey Through the Central Chilterns
Join us on a journey which aims to not only showcase a small part of what Chalk, Cherries and Chairs has achieved in its five and a half years, but also to inspire you to take action for our precious landscape.
Chalk, Cherries and Chairs was a Landscape Partnership Scheme and we are very proud and privileged to have worked with such great partners in the Central Chilterns.
