Citizen Science Coordinator

  • Position: Full Time 18-month FTC (37.5 hours per week)
  • Salary band: £30,000 pa
  • Closing date: 18 November 2024
Description

We are scaling up our ambitious Nature Recovery Plan across the Chilterns National Landscape and excited to partner with Rebel Restoration to support a new role working with a passionate and skilled group of volunteers, growing our award-winning Citizen Science project and helping us track the state of nature across the Chilterns.

We are looking for a passionate and inspiring person, driven to make a practical difference on the ground, to build on an existing package of bird, butterfly and plant surveys; helping to expand coverage and build on our emerging trend analysis.

Equally we want to build on our training package for volunteers helping them develop their skills and grow the Citizen Science network in the Chilterns.

If you have direct experience of wildlife surveying, care passionately about our local wildlife and can excite, inspire and engage volunteers then we would love to hear from you.
