Fancy a walk with breathtaking views and a tasty reward? Join us at The Village Swan at 9.30am for complimentary bacon rolls and tea/coffee before we set off on a circular hike to the top of Ivinghoe Beacon. This invigorating 3.1-mile (5km) route, estimated at around 1 hour and 12 minutes, winds through the stunning Chiltern Hills.

While the terrain includes some inclines, (and can be challenging at times) the panoramic vistas from Ivinghoe Beacon—an ancient signal point used for centuries—are well worth the effort. Imagine soaking in miles and miles of rolling countryside! Dogs are welcome (on leads where necessary, with some off-lead areas available), so bring your furry friends!
After enjoying the scenery, we’ll continue our ramble across the hills and return to The Village Swan for around 12pm, just in time for lunch service – the perfect opportunity to refuel with a well-deserved roast (& even a menu for your four-legged companion too!) or time for you to head off home & chill”
